There are reports of “many unusual sightings and sounds” eminating from this graveyard. Some have attributed these occurences to the Little Leighs Bodysnatcher: one Samuel Clark, who was arrested and deported in 1824 for crimes relating to the events, although he was cleared of the three charges of bodysnatching.
